Clinical Decision Support (CDS) Connect is a freely available web-based platform for authoring and sharing interoperable CDS resources. These resources are grouped into ‘artifacts’ centered around a theme, with the ultimate goal to aid in decision making. It is then hosted on a in a knowledge repository with other artifacts.

Tech stack

CDS Connect was built as an Acquia Cloud application using the Acquia Cloud Platform. Essentially it is a cloud-based LAMP stack that offers options for hosting Drupal Applications as websites.

Project Contributions

• fullstack developer, backend and front end LAMP stack on Acquia Cloud
• developed new custom drupal modules
• worked with a physician on updating clinical artifacts to keep them up to date annually
• supported project leadership in technical administrative tasks
• general website administration

***Note: On April 28th, 2025, the CDS Connect Repository and Authoring tool went offline. Project publications and implementation guides are available here.
